Step 3: Users "Opt In" by (explicitly) selecting the checkbox:

SMS Ride Updates (optional): Yes — send me text messages from Coach Trips about my ride (confirmation, driver assignment/ETA, pickup reminders, and ride completion/receipt). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
